Head for Flowers, at 82 Kingland Road, London E2 8DP on Saturday 12th January 2013 between 2-4pm for the private view of "Square to Circle and Back" a exhibition of prints featuring the above work by Tom Phillips. The exhibition continues until February 9th, and opening hours are Tuesday- Saturday 10am to 6pm.

Highlights of 2012 are reflected in a new selection of prints on offer at the Shop including Tom Phillips's design for the XXX Olympiad Silver Kilo Coin and Sixteeen Appearances of the Union Jack, chosen for the Royal Academy Diamond Jubilee portfolio. Also available is one of the very first Humument prints, made at Kelpra Studios in 1970 and only recently discovered in our archive.
We have revised the Editions section of the site to include links to prints available from CCA Galleries and we have also enhanced the Music Scores section of the site to include playable sound recordings.

For the month of December Tom Phillips will be the featured book artist at the wonderful bookartbookshop, 17 Pitfield Street, Hoxton, London N1 6HB.

Commissioned by the University of Sussex to commemorate its 25th anniversary in 1986 A Course in Sussex shows six excerpts from university life, each one a collaged page from A Human Document.
In a feature announcing the print in Bulletin, the University of Sussex newsletter, Tom Phillips is quoted as saying "University is a place one comes to change into oneself".
Twenty five years later this second version, A Course in Sussex II was commissioned to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the university.
Tom Phillips will be speaking at an event to launch this new edition on 28th June 2012 from 6.30 - 8pm 3rd Floor, Bramber House, University of Sussex, Falmer, Brighton, BN1 9QU
Tom Phillips will be giving a talk about the exhibition 'The Remains of the Day' at Flowers East on Tuesday 3rd July 7pm - 8.30pm. The show continues until 7th July 2012.

Announcing a number of events to mark the occasion of Tom Phillips's Seventy Fifth birthday, beginning, on 24th May 2012, the day itself, with the launch of a brand new version of the Tom Phillips website and the publication by Thames & Hudson of the new and updated 5th edition of A Humument.
On 25th May all readers of this blog are invited to the opening reception of an exhibition of graphics and original works titled South London Dreaming at GX Gallery, the exhibition continues until 13th June.
The Remains of the Day an exhibition of new work by Tom Phillips opens at Flowers East (82 Kingsland Road London E2) on the 27th May and runs until 7th July 2012.
Tom Phillips will be reading from the Humument 5th Edition on 30th May at Review bookshop.
Finally, five new prints and a sculpture are on show at the Royal Academy 2012 Summer Exhibition which runs from 4th June until 12th August 2012.
