These mosaics were constructed from hand made venetian smalti to designs by Tom Phillips. The mosaics were commissioned as part of a major urban regeneration initiative in Bellenden Road, Peckham, south east London. The first mosaic, completed 2001, was sited above a restaurant, the second, completed 2002, above a shop further along the same road. The technicians were Gary Drostle and Rob Turner of Wallscapes.

This project formed part of the award winning Bellenden Renewal Scheme at the London Tourism Awards 2003 "Local Tourism Initiative"
